Death knight quest Into the Realm of Shadows not working

I got the quest from Salanar the horseman but as soon as I'm transported into the realm of shadows and see any horse, the rider is untargetable. If I get too close to the horse (which is an elite), it will attack me. I can't kite it to the quest giver either and I also tried clearing the cache which did nothing.

Character : Rykkieta
Server : 3.3.5 x100

Please help.

There is only one targetable rider. I just found it by running around everywhere...
