Problem With Archeology.

Hello there. Today i learnt the Archeology profession and got my skills. But the problem is i never see any sites on my map or minimap. And even if i go to known archeology sites i cant use my Survey skills. Just keeps saying You can't use that here. But i see people around me digging the same site.

Try the following steps
1. Temporarily turn off all add-ons.
2. Turn on the map, remove the checkbox "Excavation sites".
3. Leave the game.
4. Delete the "Cache" folder.
5. Go into the game, turn on the map and put a daw "Excavation sites."
6. Turn on add-ons.

okay so i had no addons running but still followed all the steps and came back to a known dig site with my friends. So i still dont see them on map or minimap but since im here with my friends they can dig but i can't. I still get the message you can't use that here (survey skill).

Try to log in to your account and do repair character. I had the same problem and it helped me
