Why does shred go through deterrence?Posted 11 January 2010 - 06:40 PM
Just tested it....shred does hit through deterrence. Nothing else does, even when I am CLEARLY behind the hunter. Dueled a friend, he faced away from me, popped deterrence. Shred hit 100% of the time, nothing else could hit. It is probably because shred is specifically only usable from behind, and as someone above stated you cannot parry attacks that come from behind. (however it appears you CAN parry attacks from behind that do not specifically require that the attacker be behind its target, ie, any other attack than shred) This is probably not intended, but should be easily avoided by keeping your back away from the druid.http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1253415820Posted 11 January 2010 - 06:49 PM
Shred go through no matter what. No stun required.
not many hunters know this BUT any attack with a positional requirement GOES RIGHT THROUGH DETERRENCE. Shred and backstab don't give a damn about deterrence.
On my feral druid i LOVE it when hunters throw up deterrence and then turn their back to me and run. FREE shreds ftw. Actually i feel badly for them when they die inside deterrence and can't figure out why.Any attack that bypasses parries or has a positional requirement will go through deterrence.
