Сегодня 6 января 2010 года. Патч 3.3.0.

Делал квесты хантом на сбор Рок-Делара.

И когда пошел убивать последнего демона в Пылающих степях - то смотрю там летают черные драконы.

Убил первого попавшегося жирного Дракона Жгучей Чешуи в районе 32; 62 в пылающих степях. Из него сразу выпала " Жила взрослого черного дракона " и даже к ониксии ходить не пришлось.

Так что во первых - жила падает и сейчас, в вотлке.

А во вторых думаю жила падает с намного большим дропом когда квест взят. Но т.к. много народу просто убивает этих драконов без квеста - то им ничо не падает, и изза этого на вовхеде дроп низкий написан.

В третьих - незачем к ониксии ходить за этой жилой =)

P.s. или может мне очень повезло ))

I believe I have figured this item out.

NOTE: I have no experience with this, I am just looking it over for when I create a Worgen Hunter in the future.

Some people have a 100% drop rate, yet others have a 0%.. Why? Well, this is my assumption:

IF YOU HAVE THIS QUEST, YOU HAVE A 100% CHANCE OF GETTING THE Mature Black Dragon Sinew.

Without that quest, you WONT get the Drop!

Once you have the quest, the drop should come off any of these mobs (Maybe others too). The terrible drop rate you see, is because the mobs are killed by people that do NOT have the quest.

IN A NUTSHELL: Get this quest, and then kill any of these, and you win!

EASILY SOLOABLE AT 60. (or at 51...)

I can confirm what twilightcreep said. If you have the aforementioned quest, it is a 100% drop rate from the black dragonkin in burning steppes.

This sinew also drops from black dragons in burning steppes, noticed as i was going to kill one of the demons for the staff quest that the in game quest helper thing said they dropped them. It dropped from first kill as well so may be 100% drop rate.

I did this quest about a month ago on my main at level 80. I never did Onyxia and got this to drop off of the mobs in Burning Steppes, and when I picked it up, I recieved a feat of strength. So you get the Feat of Strength for Onyxia 60 even if you've never touched onyxia at all.

I found it pretty freakin' sweet.
