Drop this quest, and you're screwed. Thorim will not be in Thunderfall OR on the ledge at the Terrace to give you the quest again. Guess I will have to wait around in Thunderfall to see if I can get it next time someone calls Thorim for his hammer. EDIT: You can get the quest from the Thorim up at the Temple of Storms. Just found this out. Glad he was still there :))
