Though it's classified as an elixir, it won't use up either your Guardian or Battle slot. Thus, you can use it with a flask or the combination of a battle and guardian elixir. However, it will not stack with Catseye Elixir. Searching Eye is the more powerful effect, so it won't let you drink Catseye while it's still active.

Though it's classified as an elixir, it won't use up either your Guardian or Battle slot. Thus, you can use it with a flask or the combination of a battle and guardian elixir. However, it does not stack with Elixir of the Searching Eye, which will instead overwrite it.
