I'm Fr- and Eng-speaker player and a little bit russian (my father is russian). But it's still quite hard to speak and understand russian language.
I'm playing at cataclysm (4.3.4 x5). My nickname is égaré.
So, today I've got a mute after one message from some player. His name is "Найа" and he was w/o blizz badge. As far as I understood, he told me that I've got a bad nickname (it contains "é"). I checked the rules, it's said only for alt-combined symbols could be wrong. But for me, it's not alt-including code. French is an international language as well as english and it doesn't contain hieroglyphs like, for example, Asian languages. And I couldn't know that "é" doesn't exist in russian alphabet (for instance you have "й") and it's required to get an alt-code to write (on my key board i have é, ù, à, ç, è et etc. without any alt-codes). For example for me on english client, i don't see russian letters at all and all the names for is "????" (how to fix it also a question?! could you upload the russian fonts somewhere?), does it count like a alt-coded names?!
Hence, the question is, could you precise which alt-codes do you mean when you create the rules? Because for me, for instance (and for some foreign people also), it's not clear (eventually, for russians it is). And what could what are you going to do with my issue of muted character?
