This armor has grown to be pretty nice in WotLK.
PvP
Obviously great for fighting other casters. Resistance and reduces magic durations in half.
This will make a shamans slow last shorter than their cooldown, the fears and stuns from locks and priests lasts shorter etc.
But there is one thing people need to realize:
50% duration
is not the same as -50% damage taken from DoTs.
You would just have to reapply the DoTs more often. However, it helps great on DoTs with cooldown and procs (like ignite).
And also on DoTs that start with low damage, and then grow higher and higher. You'll end up only getting the lower ticks.
But remember to remove it if you get Living Bomb on you! :)
