Повторюсь, серьезных изменений механики скилла не было, должен работать как положено.

Shadowmeld will only reset a fight if you're the last one alive.
When you shadowmeld, the mobs will look for a new target to attack (including previously shadowmelded but in-combat players). If they can't find anyone, they reset. Otherwise, you're still in-combat and after they stop attacking their new target, they'll come back to you.
