    Post Sindragosa unchained magic/instability proc on spell hit, instead on cast

    1.Instability spell boss Sindragosa : https://wotlk.evowow.com/?spell=69766
    2.(ultra short description of the problem: The instability debuff should be give only on cast / Not on hit ) <-- currently in circle wow its given on spell hit + on cast, that cause getting minimum 2x instability stacks for casted 1x mind flay cast for example( i guess for some other spells its possible to get even more stacks per 1spell casted / didn't tested anything else than a shadow priest - 1x mind flay cast gives total of 2x instability stacks) , which is wrong.
    Decription: Sindragosa's debuff she gives - Unchained magic [Inflicts an arcane malediction on the target, causing any spells cast to result in a backlash of Arcane power after 5 sec. Multiple spellcasts by the afflicted target will intensify the backlash.] applies its aura called Instability[Using magic while afflicted with Unchained Magic will build up unstable energy, dealing 862 Arcane damage to the caster per spell cast, 5 sec after spellcasting ends.] on instant cast spells but when you cast a non instant spell(for example Shadow bolt) the Instability stack is procced on hit and not on release. I have seen this bug on other private servers and I have done the same report already(will not mention any names here).
    3. I hope imgur screenshots are allowed <3 https://imgur.com/0aYJuKJ : How it should work: Instability stacks should be procced only from casted spells and not on hits or channeling spells such as penance. This is literaly what the spell description says - [Inflicts an arcane malediction on the target, (CAUSING ANY SPELLS CAST) to result in a backlash of Arcane power after 5 sec.(per spell cast,after spellcasting ends.) Multiple spellcasts by the afflicted target will intensify the backlash.]
    Here is my source. The video is from 2010 march 3(it is in the description of the video although the video is posted 2012 it's from retail. There are plenty of videos on youtube showing how unchained magic is supposed to work and since the video shows it clearly I decided not to post any more videos.

    4. The issue have been seen in realm 100x wow circle 13.02.2022 ( it was my first raid with guild Soulflayer )
    5. I have no idea since when that issue exists, but wiling to play in circle wow at least until blizzard came out with wotlk once again <3

Cast Mind Flay with shadow priest , make sure you have addon Quartz to be easier to see the tics , when it hits etc and then you will see that the instability is been triggered on hit , instead of cast ( should be give only 1x stack of instability each 1 cast of mind flay , no matter how many tics / hits the mind flay does , because its supposed to be triggered only on cast )
    8. Note when i have currently 6x stacks of instability and start casting mind flay , there u will see how for 1x cast of mind flay i get 2x stacks of instability , which proves the issue as what it is. https://imgur.com/a/boUeDo6 ( the quality is low but its visible on 3 different places the easiest position is the left side from the weakauras icons )
    9. I hope everything is correctly done i tried my best and if there is anything misunderstanding let me know here and I'll do extra effort to make it clear for everything who care. <3

    Hello there and , but do you make difference between " triggered instability from hit" and "triggered instability from cast" its really detailed explained in the report , please put some extra effort , reading it <3 ( i guess the developers or any more advanced player already understand and know about this issue )
    About you @AngerlGR , if you need better explained situation " I'll prepare a short example of video where you can see into the MSBT addon and at the same time on the Quartz addon when the instability debuff is gained and from what , from tick / hit or cast etc etc

    Nicely done report. Confirmed. Instability procs on hit and not on cast as it is supposed to be. Hope it gets fixed soon!

    I cant edit my Topic / title otherwise i have to say that instability has been triggered on cast but at the same time on hit as well , which should be only on cast ( 1 cast = 1 instability stack , no matter if the spell is "channeling" or not )

    I hope its clear enough : what is happening in circle wow and how its supposed to be <3
