So, the Brood Queen in the Demon Hunter starting area is unbeatable. I think we're supposed to have allies or something in the form of NPCs but they're not spawning, or if they do it's only one and they just stand there. When he does finally do something, she immediately takes him over and he wrecks your face. She's Skull difficulty, and so hits harder than absinthe on an empty stomach. This is not doable for a solo player, and there are pretty much no other players in the zone. I tried taking her with one other guy but the boss stomped us, broke our gear, gave us wedgies and threatened to swirly us if we didn't run home to mommy. I don't remember the retail version being that impossible.
Update: Ok so I made it out. The way to do it is to farm endlessly for several hours as a Vengeance spec and then kite tf out of her. Literally only one npc showed up to help and she kept turning him. Be sure to kill the spider quickly or it'll stick around thru to the next time she disappears. Stay out of the red stuff and spam Soul Cleave whenever it hits 3 stacks. Having the Infernal Armor talent is also a must.
